Around Kathmandu Valley Trek

The chain of mountains around the Kathmandu valley is rarely trekked and very under rated. It provides a first class short spring trek but with more distant and sometimes hazy mountain views. However, rhododendrons and other spring flowers are in bloom, and the routes offer a fine cross-section of village, culture and scenic beauty with rewarding views over the foothills to the north and across the Kathmandu valley.
