Jomsom / Muktinath Trek

This trek starts in Pokhara and follows the course of the Kali Gandaki River, we will travel through one of Nepal’s veteran trekking areas. We will first have the chance to visit famous Poon Hill viewing point, with views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, not forgetting Machhapuchre; and the lovely villages of Birethati, Tatopani, Tukche and Marpha. We will enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of the Thakali people. We will go until Kagbeni, the gate of the Kingdom of Mustang. And from there it is one day’s journey to the holy Muktinath shrine, visited by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. The journey finishes in Jomsom, where a light plane will take us back to Pokhara. Start and end point of the classic route.

Day 03: Kathandu/Pokhara. Drive. Hotel.

Day 04: Pokhara/Nayapul/Ulleri. Tea house.

Day 05: Ulleri/Ghorepani. Tea house.

Day 06: Ghorepani/Poon Hill/Tatopani. Tea house.

Day 07: Tatopani/Kalapani. Tea house.

Day 08: Kalapani/Marpha. Tea house.

Day 09: Marpha/Kagbeni. Tea house.

Day 10: Kagbeni/Muktinath. Tea house.

Day 11: Muktinath/Jomsom. Tea house.

Day 12: Jomsom/Pokhara. Hotel.

Day 13: In Pokhara. Hotel.

Day 14: Pokhara/Kathmandu.
