Everest Base Camp & Kalapatthar Trek

Wilderness Trekking in Sherpa country

This trek includes the classic trek to Everest, starting and finishing in Lukla. We arrive at Lukla by light plane, about 45 minutes flight duration. The same day we arrive Lukla, we start our walk to Phakding, which takes roughly half a day. From here on we start gaining height as we walk along the Khumbu valley, bringing us closer to the Everest Base Camp, at the foot of the famous Khumbu ice-fall. The return path take us back down the same valley, but we visit different villages and spend the night in different places. This is a relatively short trek on which there are some impressive views of the most famous summits of the Himalayas such as Everest, Amadablam, Pumori, Nuptse and many others.

Day 05: In Namche Bazar. Tea house.

Day 06: Namche Bazar/Thyangboche. Tea house.

Day 07: Thyangboche/Pheriche. Tea house.

Day 08: Pheriche/Lobuche. Tea house.

Day 09: Lobuche/Gorakshep. Tea house.

Day 10: Gorakshep/Kalapatthar/Gorakshep. Tea house.

Day 11: Gorakshep/Everest Base Camp/Gorakshep. Tea house.

Day 12: Gorakshep/Lobuche. Tea house.

Day 13: Lobuche/Dingboche. Tea house.

Day 14: Dingboche/Chukkung. Tea house.

Day 15: Chukkung/Chukkung Ri/Chukkung. Tea house.
