Annapurna Circuit trek is probably one of world's most beautiful treks. It will take you through a wonderful variety of landscape and culture, from the subtropical lower Marsyangdi valley where Gurung and Thakali settlements dominate to the northern arid Buddhist areas. Along the Marsyangdi river, on easy trails and suspension bridges, through rice terraces and forests, you will slowly gain altitude and acclimatize well. After leaving Pisang one can get stunning extremely up-close views of snowy and glaciated high peaks including Annapurnas II, III and IV.
